This gallery is to present you one special dog..... Please meet Ria and Nella, our two mixed breed Spanish Water Dogs. The black beauty, Ria, was abandoned along the river bed near the refuge. She was very scared and in a deplorable state with one eye badly infected. Once at the refuge, she kept to herself for several days, unsure of her new surroundings. However, she has since become one of the most loveable dogs in our care. She does not have one ounce of aggressive behavior. She is probably 1 ½ years old, neutered, stands about 42 centimeres in height and weighs 16 kilos. Ria would love to spend all her time bounding after a ball with her new owner. Nella was rescued after being discarded by her owner which is so difficult to believe as she is such a gem. She is a very affectionate, quiet girl who loves everyone and everything. She is about 8 years old, neutered, weighs 17 kilos and stands 45 centimeters high. One of her favorite things is having her stomach rubbed. Without a doubt Nella would make a very loyal and loveable companion.
