Remember Flossie, the sad sack of bones one of our volunteers found wandering through the mountains? (in case you missed it, here’s the video) Well, she perked up considerably in the last month or so and, even better, she has found her perfect new home, on a wonderful farm!
When we first found Flossie she was so thin and maltreated that it broke our hearts. But Flossie was a very resilient, easy going dog and within a few weeks she had her glossy coat back and was running around like a happy puppy! All she needed was a fresh start with people who would be nice to her. Who better than Justin and Carlos? They live in a beautifully converted barn, with five horses, six grown dogs, two puppies, a large flock of chicken and a Vietnamese pig! Quite fancied moving in with them myself…..
But seriously: endings don’t get much happier than this and we all wish Flossie, Justin, Carlos and the rest of their gang all the best!
